The majority of grants from The Alfred E. Chase Charity Foundation are 1 year in duration. On occasion, multi-year support is awarded.
The Foundation will not provide
- General operating support for any public school, including public charter schools.
- Support for endowment campaigns.
- Sponsorships of events such as galas or award ceremonies.
- Costs of fundraising events such as sports tournaments.
In general, do not submit proposals where the Foundation would be your only funder. The Foundation is generally not inclined to fund projects as the sole funder as it raises troubling issues of sustainability.
