Grants of up to $10,000 to Massachusetts nonprofit arts and cultural organizations in eligible locations for support during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) health crisis. Applicants must complete the required registration prior to applying. Funding is intended to assist local arts nonprofits that have been impacted by the pandemic. Grants may be used to help small and mid-sized arts and culture nonprofits adapt their programs, spaces, and operating models. Eligible organizations are located in the City of Boston.

Grants will be determined by budget size:
- Budget under $250,000: Eligible for $3,000 grant
- Budget from $250,000 to $2 million: Eligible for $5,000 grant
- Budget from $2 million to $5 million: Eligible for $10,000 grant

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

For the purpose of this fund, an “arts and culture nonprofit” is defined as an organization with:
- A budget of under $5 million
- An organization address in the City of Boston, and the majority of its public programming in Boston, and
- An ability to describe how they have been negatively impacted by COVID-19.

If your organization is not a 501(c)3 nonprofit, you will need a fiscal sponsorship.

Pre-Application Information:

The deadline to apply is July 31, 2020, at 5:00 PM.

As part of the application, organizations must register as a City of Boston vendor on the City's supplier portal. To do that, fill out the Vendor Registration Form (below). You will then be given a vendor ID number, which you can include in your application.
