Additional Eligibility Criteria:

To encourage a commitment to breast cancer research, the Breast Cancer Alliance invites clinical doctors and research scientists, including post docs, whose primary focus is breast cancer research and who are at any stage of their careers, to apply for funding for the Exceptional Project Grant. This grant is open to applicants at institutions within the United States.

Pre-Application Information:

Prior to submission of a formal grant proposal, the BCA requires a one-page Letter of Intent (LOI) and a separate CV. For 2022 grants, those letters will be due on April 1, 2021.

Applicants will be informed by mid-May 2021 whether they have been invited to proceed with a formal application. Researchers should coordinate with their institutions, as the BCA will accept a maximum of 2 LOIs per institution.

Full applications for the Exceptional Project Grant are due on or before July 23, 2021.

Applicants will be notified in mid-February 2022 of the decision regarding their proposals.
