Academy of the Pacific Rim Charter
THE ORGANIZATION WAS FORMED TO OPERATE EXCLUSIVELY FOR CHARITABLE AND EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES. THE ORGANIZATION WILL RAISE FUNDS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT OF A STATE-AUTHORIZED PUBLIC CHARTER SCHOOL. THE SCHOOL WILL ACCOMPLISH ITS EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES BY INTEGRATING A TRADITIONAL EDUCATIONAL CURRICULUM HAVING A STRONG EMPHASIS ON CORE KNOWLEDGE, FULFILLING COGNITIVE, AFFECTIVE AND SOCIAL NEEDS THROUGH RIGOROUS SCHOOLING WITH METHODS FOUND IN PACIFIC RIM CULTURES WHILE MAINTAINING AN AMERICAN EMPHASIS ON SELF-ACTUALIZATION AND RESPECT FOR DIVERSITY. THE SCHOOL WILL EMPHASIZE COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT VIA PARTNERSHIP WITH VARIOUS INSTITUTIONS, BOTH PUBLIC AND PRIVATE.
