OVATIONS USES THEIR FUNDS (GIVEN ON A MONTHLY BASIS) TO PROVIDE MEALS TO FAMILIES WHERE THE FEMALE HEAD OF HOUSEHOLD IS UNDERGOING TREATMENT FOR CANCER. COMMUNICATION IS RECEIVED FROM OVATIONS ON A REGULAR BASIS AS TO THE IMPACT OF THIS FUNDING ON THEIR CLIENTS. MGH USES THE FUNDS TO A) PROVIDE ECONOMIC SUPPORT TO QUALIFYING FEMALE PATIENTS UNDERGOING CANCER TREATMENT AND B) SUPPORT RESEARCH BY MGH FACULTY INTO IDENTIFYING POTENTIAL CURES FOR WOMEN'S CANCERS. MGH PROVIDES DIRECT FEEDBACK TO THE CHAIRMAN OF THE JULIE FUND ON A REGULAR BASIS AS TO THE USE OF FUNDS. IN ADDITION, MGH STAFF (DEPARTMENT CHAIRS AND SOCIAL WORKERS) AND PATIENTS ARE ALWAYS PRESENTERS AT THE ANNUAL JULIE FUND GALA.
